David DeJesus, EIT, is a fire protection technician at TERPconsulting with a foundation in sprinkler system design and code compliance. With four years of industry experience, David applies his knowledge of NFPA standards, specifically NFPA 13—Installation of Sprinkler Systems, NFPA 14—Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems, and NFPA 20—Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection, to deliver reliable, code-compliant fire protection solutions. His technical proficiency includes advanced use of AutoCAD and Navisworks.

Before joining TERPconsulting, David was at RAEL Fire Protection, where he managed a range of fire sprinkler upgrade projects. His portfolio includes work in the market sectors of educational facilities and sports stadiums, where he designed and implemented seismic bracing systems to enhance structural resilience. David was responsible for designing pre-existing, temporary, and active fire sprinkler systems, identifying system vulnerabilities, and implementing corrective strategies that improved safety and performance. He consistently ensured that projects met stringent regulatory requirements and stayed within scope and schedule.

David holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Farmingdale State College.
