Code Consultant
The ideal candidate will possess a minimum two years’ experience in fire protection engineering and code consulting. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for field inspections, writing technical reports and cultivating new and existing client relationships. Must possess excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn. Minimum qualifications include: B.S. or M.S. in Fire Protection Engineering or degree in a related engineering field, minimum two years’ relevant experience in fire protection engineering and code consulting, have the ability to understand and communicate technical issues as they pertain to IBC, IFC, and NFPA, possess a professional engineering license or desire to obtain a license, an interest in working with a small team focused on results, proficient in Microsoft office and productivity applications. AutoCAD and/or Revit experience a plus. Fire modeling experience a plus.
Systems Designer (Fire Alarm and/or Fire Sprinkler)
The ideal candidate will have a minimum two years’ experience in design of fire alarm and/or fire sprinkler system design. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for layout and design of various building types and industries. Must poses excellent written and oral communication skills, ability to work independently, and willingness to learn. Minimum qualifications include: Minimum two years relevant experience in AutoSPRINK, two years’ or more experience in AutoCAD and/or Revit, NICET Water-based Systems Layout Level II, NICET Fire Alarm Systems Layout Level II, Experience in fire protection or related engineering field, an interest in working with a small team focused on results. Proficient in Microsoft office and productivity applications.
