Nicole Plunkett-Reid

Nicole pursued a career in the fire protection field to develop her interest in seeing the direct impact code-compliant processes and fire and life safety measures have on people’s daily lives. In her capacity at TERPconsulting, Nicole is responsible for the preparation of Fire Protection Reports, alternate methods, egress analyses, 3rd party reviews, and fire modeling simulations.
Nicole’s experience is in building and life safety code consulting, design and calculation of fire protection systems (including fire suppression, detection, and alarm systems), architectural plan review for compliance with building and life safety codes, and determining code-compliant fire protection approaches for various occupancies.
In her role as a code consultant, Nicole has worked on the City of Henderson’s Via Inspirada Police Station, the City of Henderson Crime Lab, and UMusic Resort and Hotel in Glendale, Arizona.
A member of both the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE) and National Fire Sprinkler Association (NFSA), Nicole has a degree in Fire Protection Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park, and is currently working towards her engineering-in-training certification.
