A principal at TERPconsulting, Bryan has nearly two decades of expertise in engineering and code consulting. He excels in developing client relationships and defining scopes of work, with a particular focus on the Middle East leading our operations in Saudi Arabia.
As one of the firm’s technical leads, Bryan provides consulting and design services for complex high-rise buildings, residential properties, educational institutions, high-piled storage, and industrial and hazardous material facilities. Additionally, he offers third-party special inspector services for smoke control/removal systems and fire-resistant joint and penetration systems, ensuring the highest standards of safety and compliance.
Project highlights during Bryan’s six-year tenure managing TERPconsulting’s Las Vegas headquarters include leading the fire and life safety and smoke control efforts for the 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel, casino, and convention center, serving as the FPE of record for Circa, Downtown Las Vegas’s largest hotel and casino, and working on Southern Nevada’s first public tunnel system, the Vegas Loop, which runs under the Las Vegas Strip.
Prior to joining TERPconsulting in 2012, Bryan worked at JBA Consulting Engineers (now NV5) as a Senior Fire Protection Engineer and was responsible for the management of several unique projects including SLS Las Vegas (formerly the Sahara Hotel) and Michael Jackson One, a Cirque du Soleil show. Bryan began his career as a graduate intern at Rolf Jensen & Associates (now Jensen Hughes) in 2006 and joined JBA in 2008 providing code consulting and fire protection system design services for mixed-use projects.
Bryan is a licensed professional fire protection engineer in eight states, along with achieving NCEES registration for expedited reciprocity in other states. In 2019, Bryan was named to Consulting-Specifying Engineer magazine’s ’40 Under 40.‘ Bryan is an avid runner thus proclaiming himself the world’s fastest fire protection engineer.
