Jorge Velasco, who manages TERP’s Southern California team, specializes in 3rd party smoke control, fire alarm, and special suppression system testing, and the design and inspection of fire protection systems.

Nicole performs FPRs, alternate methods, egress analyses, 3rd party reviews, and fire modeling simulations. Her experience also includes code consulting, design and calculation of fire protection systems, and architectural plan review.
Lana Benny has been involved in fire protection projects throughout the world performing fire and smoke modeling services for the NY Korea Center in New York City and Marjan Offshore Platform in the Arabian Gulf.
A modeling analysis whiz, Francisco Kang has managed performance-based design and fire, smoke, and egress modeling projects for high-profile projects in residential, business, and assembly occupancies across multiple jurisdictions.
As TERP’s accessibility lead, Heather brings her knowledge in analyzing fire and life safety requirements and accessibility code compliance. She is CASp-certified and an International Code Council (ICC) Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner.
With a focus on special inspections and testing, Adam Krylo brings his skilled knowledge in preparing fire protection reports, egress plans, and general code consulting to his fire protection consultant role at TERPconsulting.
Eric Johnson is responsible for code consulting, developing permits, and performing on-site inspections. His experience includes fire safety design projects for transportation, hotels and casinos, commercial buildings, govt/municipal, and school projects.
Matt Strasser’s career-making projects have included Allegiant Stadium, Las Vegas Raiders headquarters, Las Vegas Aces practice facility, and Circa Resort & Casino, as well as countless other resort and gaming properties in Southern Nevada.
Gary Lyon prepares egress drawings, tenant improvement and FPRs, fire alarm design, and assists with third-party smoke control special inspection testing as part of TERP’s Cad Union. He also performs code consulting and third-party special inspections.
As a member of TERP’s CAD Union, Michael Portillo has worked on resort properties both domestically and internationally including MGM Grand, Caesars Palace, and Wynn Las Vegas. His experience also includes Native American casinos.
Marisa conducts accessibility assessment field surveys, inspections, and analysis; performs accessibility reviews, and existing building audits; and provides technical assistance and consulting during project development.
Ann Trobough joined TERPconsulting in 2017 to build the firm’s marketing department into one of its pillars of strength. She utilized her business development expertise in branding and marketing to nurture the firm’s robust profile and sterling reputation.
Beth Schwartz uses her expertise as a former editor/writer to manage content on the firm’s website and social media channels as well as disseminate communication initiatives with regard to TERP’s endeavors and accomplishments.
Nancy Cohen is responsible for implementing new projects, coordinating, and managing proposals, finalizing reports, and managing the day-to-day operations for the firm’s Denver, New York City, and Saudi Arabia (KSA) operations.
Lindsay oversees administrative operations for TERPconsulting’s Las Vegas, Southern California, Phoenix, and Baltimore offices. She provides support for new project setup and proposals, finalizing reports and documents, and AHJ submittals.
Since joining TERPconsulting in 2021, Jenny has brought her energetic approach, organization skills, and resourcefulness to a wide variety of administrative projects ranging from greeting clients to assisting with documents and reports.
A key team member of TERPconsulting, Buster oversees the company’s pest control management, monitors workplace productivity, warms empty seats, serves as a paperweight, and manages the shredding of old documents.
