Fire Protection Designer

As one of TERPconsulting’s skilled CAD Union team members, Chaz Simons’s focus is drawing and design preparation utilizing AutoCAD and Revit programs. Chaz assists in the technical and complex system design and management of large life safety packages, including fire suppression, fire alarm, egress, sprinkler system, high pile storage, and smoke control drawings, using his CAD and BIM software expertise in his role as a fire protection designer. His expertise in AutoCAD spans multiple markets, from Las Vegas’ iconic resort casinos to schools, military bases, multifamily, retail, and industrial projects.

Prior to joining TERPconsulting in 2023, Chaz’s career as a software developer in the insurance sector gave him the experience to support his transition into a career in fire protection drawing and design.

Chaz is a certified IFC Third-Party Firestop Inspector and a member of the Society of Fire Protection Engineers (SFPE).
