Fire Protection Consultant

A fire protection consultant on our Philadelphia team, Divine has experience in fire protection consulting, code compliance review, site inspections, fire protection system design, and fire safety research.

During internships with Jensen Hughes and Fire Risk Alliance, Divine supported code consulting projects through field assessments, fire protection drawing reviews, proposal preparation, and markups summarizing code compliance findings and recommendations. At Jensen Hughes, she reviewed fire protection plans for compliance with IBC and NFPA requirements, conducted site surveys and field inspections to evaluate existing fire protection features and means of egress, and researched applicable fire and building codes across a range of project types.

She also completed an electrical engineering internship with Whiting-Turner, broadening her technical foundation and multidisciplinary perspective.

A triple Terp, Divine holds a Master of Engineering (M.Eng.) in Fire Protection Engineering and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
