Swingers Las Vegas, formerly Light Nightclub, is a mini golf and carnival arcade immersive entertainment venue measuring approximately 35,000 ft2 at Mandalay Bay Hotel & Casino. TERPconsulting provided general building and fire code consulting throughout the design and construction of Swingers, including three Tenant Improvement Fire Protection Reports (TI FPRs) for demolition, early “core and shell,” and full tenant improvement interior buildouts. TERPconsulting prepared several Request for Alternate Methods & Materials (RFAMs) for foliage materials and the use of wood construction for the miniature golf sets. The accessibility team at TERPconsulting reviewed the project architectural drawings against pertinent accessibility provisions of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the 2018 International Building Code with Clark County amendments (CCBC). TERPconsulting provided Smoke Control Mechanical Quality Assurance Agency (MQAA) inspection and testing services.
