TERPconsulting ADDS FIRE SPRINKLER SPECIALIST JIM LITTLE TO ITS DENVER TEAM

Jim Little AnnouncementTERPconsulting is pleased to welcome Jim Little to its Denver team as a senior fire protection consultant. With nearly three decades of experience in the fire protection industry—including 26 years of hands-on expertise using AutoSPRINK—Jim brings a fire sprinkler-focused background grounded in real-world contracting experience and technical execution.

“Jim’s depth of experience on the contracting side, particularly his decades-long proficiency with AutoSPRINK, brings an invaluable, real-world perspective to our Denver team,” said Wayne Griswold, PE, who leads TERPconsulting’s Denver team. “His understanding of constructability and field coordination aligns perfectly with our commitment to delivering practical, technically sound fire protection solutions to our clients.”

Jim’s career has been firmly rooted in the contracting side of the industry, where he developed an extensive understanding of constructability, coordination, and field-driven problem-solving. His transition to TERPconsulting marks a strategic shift from contracting to consulting, allowing him to apply his extensive technical knowledge in a broader advisory and design-support role.

“After spending most of my career on the contracting side, I was ready to take the next step and apply that experience from a consulting perspective,” Jim said. “TERPconsulting’s reputation for technical excellence and practical, solutions-oriented consulting really resonated with me. It will be a great opportunity to leverage my background.”

Jim’s technical expertise spans complex fire sprinkler-related challenges, including the design, coordination, and management of sprinkler systems across a wide range of market sectors. He brings both technical depth and practical field insight to every project, supporting efficient system design and successful implementation.

Most recently, Jim served as a Designer and Project Manager at H2O Fire Protection, where he led fire sprinkler system design and project execution for multifamily, commercial, single-family residential, and tenant finish projects. In that role, he worked closely with project teams to ensure compliance with applicable codes, standards, and project-specific requirements.

Jim’s extensive industry background, combined with his long-standing proficiency in AutoSPRINK and contractor-focused perspective, enables him to deliver practical, constructible solutions that support effective design, installation, and long-term system performance. His addition further strengthens TERPconsulting’s fire sprinkler expertise in the Denver market and beyond.
