21 Jul TERPconsulting EXPANDS SPRINKLER DESIGN TEAM WITH THE ADDITION OF FIRE PROTECTION TECHNICIAN DAVID DEJESUS, EIT
TERPconsulting is pleased to announce the addition of David DeJesus, EIT, to its sprinkler design team as a fire protection technician.
David brings a foundation in sprinkler system design and code compliance, along with a working knowledge of key NFPA standards, including NFPA 13—Installation of Sprinkler Systems, NFPA 14—Installation of Standpipe and Hose Systems, and NFPA 20—Installation of Stationary Pumps for Fire Protection. His technical proficiency and practical field experience make him a well-rounded addition to the firm’s fire protection engineering team.
“We’re excited to welcome David to our sprinkler design team,” says Troy Spiger, PE, senior fire protection engineer at TERPconsulting. “His foundation in code compliance and system design directly supports our mission to deliver dependable, high-performing fire protection solutions—strengthening the support we provide to our A|E|C partners.”
David previously worked at RAEL Fire Protection, where he was involved in a range of fire sprinkler upgrade projects. His project portfolio spans educational facilities and sports stadiums, where he designed and implemented seismic bracing systems to enhance structural resilience. He was responsible for preparing designs for active fire sprinkler systems, both new and modifications to existing systems, identifying system vulnerabilities, and implementing corrective strategies to enhance safety and performance.
David’s technical proficiency includes advanced use of AutoCAD and Navisworks. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology from Farmingdale State College.
