INDUSTRY VETERAN KIRK MONEY JOINS TERPconsulting AS SENIOR ACCESSIBILITY CONSULTANT

Kirk Money has joined TERPconsulting as the firm’s senior accessibility consultant, bringing nearly three decades of experience working in the A|E|C industry. Kirk Money has joined TERPconsulting as the firm’s senior accessibility consultant, bringing nearly three decades of experience working in the A|E|C industry. Specializing in accessibility code compliance, Kirk has extensive expertise in reviewing building permit applications and construction documents for industrial and commercial projects to verify adherence to local and state building codes. His skills include conducting detailed accessibility analyses, developing and interpreting technical reports, and preparing official documentation for construction reviews and onsite inspections.

With a vast understanding of building systems, modern construction methods, and techniques, Kirk excels in interpreting blueprints, technical schematics, and product specifications. He has significant project management experience, including facilitating meetings with owners, architects, and engineers to address proposed projects and resolve code compliance issues.

Formerly a Senior Plans Examiner and Inspector for the City of Littleton, CO, Kirk’s background includes conducting technical code analyses for complex projects and providing technical guidance for code compliance. He has worked alongside building inspectors to monitor projects for adherence to approved construction documents and has performed onsite inspections of accessibility, energy, mechanical, and plumbing systems.

Kirk has held the following certifications from the International Code Council since 2012: Building Plans Examiner, Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner, and Commercial Building Inspector.
