Jesse Lump receives PE License TERPconsulting

TERPconsulting is pleased to announce that Jesse Lumpa has received his professional engineer (P.E.) license from the Wyoming Board of Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors. Having completed the state’s licensing process, which involves education and training, industry experience, and testing, he joins TERPconsulting’s 12 engineers who, as a group, are licensed in 44 states and the District of Columbia.

“I was very excited and slightly relieved,” Jesse said of receiving the news he was officially licensed as a professional engineer in Wyoming.  “I passed the exam over a year ago but didn’t have the experience requirement until more recently.”

With four years of experience in the fire protection field, Jesse is focused on developing a specialty in water-based fire suppression design. He is NICET-certified in Water-Based Systems Layout, Level II.

Before joining TERPconsulting as a fire protection consultant in 2021, Jesse was a project manager/designer at Frontier Fire Protection. He designed water-based fire suppression systems that included wet, dry, pre-action, and foam systems. He also performed 3-D coordination using Navisworks and reviewed contracts and scope of work documents. In 2018, Jesse worked at Western States Fire Protection as a project manager/designer managing the material and installation of fire suppression systems as well as designing water-based fire suppression systems.

A graduate of Iowa State University, Jesse has a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering. He is currently pursuing his professional engineering license in Colorado.
