TERPconsulting Leadership TransitionTERPconsulting is pleased to announce a leadership transition within the firm’s management team.

Bryan Douglass, PE, a principal of the firm and longtime leader of TERPconsulting’s Las Vegas headquarters, will be shifting his focus to oversee the firm’s growing international presence. In his new role, Bryan will assume responsibility for TERPconsulting’s operations in the Middle East, with a particular focus on projects in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

During his six-year tenure managing the Las Vegas office, Bryan led numerous high-profile projects that have shaped the city’s evolving skyline. Notable projects include overseeing the fire and life safety and smoke control testing for the 67-story Fontainebleau Las Vegas hotel, casino, and convention center; serving as the fire protection engineer of record for Circa, the largest hotel and casino in Downtown Las Vegas; and contributing to the fire protection planning for the Vegas Loop—the region’s first underground public transit system beneath the Las Vegas Strip. A seasoned engineer and code consultant with nearly 20 years of experience, Bryan is recognized for his ability to build strong client relationships and develop well-defined scopes of work tailored to each project’s needs.

Stepping into the role of regional director for TERPconsulting’s Las Vegas headquarters is Jason D. Beck, AET, who has been a key member of the firm since joining in 2011. As senior fire protection consultant and leader of the firm’s largest office, Jason brings more than two decades of expertise in fire protection engineering to his new role. From fire and building code consulting, plan review, and the development of fire protection reports, to master egress strategies, smoke control analyses, and accessibility compliance assessments, Jason has a broad range of expertise.

Jason’s project portfolio is both deep and diverse. He has provided fire protection consulting services for many of the Las Vegas Strip’s most iconic properties, including Caesars Palace, Encore at Wynn Las Vegas, and The Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas. In addition to his extensive experience in hospitality and gaming, Jason has made significant contributions to the tribal, municipal, and higher education sectors.

“As our firm continues to expand its reach and capabilities, leadership continuity remains essential,” said Jim Begley, PE, co-founder of TERPconsulting. “Bryan’s experience and global perspective make him the ideal choice to lead our Middle East operations. At the same time, Jason’s deep roots in Las Vegas and extensive technical expertise position him perfectly to carry forward the legacy of excellence in our headquarters office. We’re proud of both leaders and excited for what’s ahead.”

As Bryan transitions to his international leadership role and Jason assumes his new responsibilities in Las Vegas, TERPconsulting remains committed to delivering expert fire protection engineering and code consulting services across all markets.
