24 Jan Mystic Lake Center Opens in Grand Prior, MN
TERPconsulting is thrilled to announce the grand opening of the Mystic Lake Center, a nine-story hotel and conference center expansion in Prior Lake, MN. TERP provided fire protection and code consulting services and prepared the facility’s fire protection report.
Much of the design for the expansion was inspired by natural scenes found in Minnesota, such as flowing rivers, frozen lakes, or prairie grasslands. The chandeliers feature blue acrylic to mimic water droplets. Ceiling panel designs were modeled after a river.
“If you look at this building, it really is a work of art,” said Shakopee Mdewakanton Sioux Community’s Gaming Enterprise President and CEO Angela Heikes.
