Wayne Griswold, PE, CFPS has been appointed to two National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) Standard Committees: NFPA 3 — Standard for Commissioning of Fire Protection and Life Safety Systems and NFPA 4 — Standard for Integrated Fire Protection and Life Safety System Testing. 

A Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) as recognized by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA), Wayne is International Code Council (ICC) certified as a Fire Inspector Level I/II and Fire Plans Examiner. He is also certified as a State of Colorado Suppression Inspector and Inspector III – Plans Examiner and is certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Water Based Systems Layout Level I/II. 

Wayne is a registered fire protection professional engineer (PE) in Colorado, New Mexico, and Wisconsin, and a Certified Fire Protection Specialist (CFPS) as recognized by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA). He is a board member of the SFPE-Rocky Mountain Chapter, and he serves on the Regional Fire Code Board of Appeals for the South Metro Fire Rescue Authority (SMFRA). Wayne holds a bachelor’s degree in Fire Protection and Safety Technology from Oklahoma State University.
