02 Sep TERPconsulting EXPANDS NEW YORK CITY TEAM WITH ADDITION OF FIRE PROTECTION CONSULTANT VLADIMIR PANKIN
TERPconsulting is pleased to announce the addition of Vladimir Pankin to its New York City team as a fire protection consultant. Vladimir brings a strong foundation in fire protection, risk engineering, property loss prevention, and technical consulting to the TERPconsulting team. His experience spans a diverse range of industries and complex exposures, with particular expertise in fire protection systems, high-challenge storage, automatic storage and retrieval systems (ASRS), and ignitable liquids.
His technical expertise includes NFPA and FM standards, hydraulic analysis of fire protection systems, plan review, emergency response planning, property risk improvement, flood mapping, and Human Element program assessment. This combination of field-based risk engineering and technical consulting experience allows Vladimir to approach fire protection challenges from both a code-compliance and property-risk perspective, providing clients with practical, risk-focused solutions.

Before joining TERPconsulting, Vladimir served as a Senior Property Loss Prevention Consultant, Property Specialist, and Risk Engineering Consultant with leading insurance and risk engineering organizations, including Travelers, Zurich North America, and FM Global. His experience includes evaluating fire hazards and protection strategies for complex storage systems, conducting fire protection plan reviews, assessing healthcare and industrial occupancies, evaluating natural hazards, and developing actionable risk improvement strategies. He has also provided technical training and guidance to property engineers and other professionals on the adequacy of fire protection systems.
With his broad technical background and experience evaluating fire protection from a property risk and loss-prevention perspective, Vladimir strengthens TERPconsulting’s ability to provide clients with informed, practical solutions to complex fire protection and life safety challenges.
