20 Jul TERPconsulting WELCOMES DIVINE OMEH TO PHILADELPHIA TEAM
TERPconsulting is pleased to welcome Divine Omeh as a fire protection consultant in our Philadelphia office.
“We are excited to welcome Divine to our growing Philadelphia team,” said Roger Rudy, PE, regional director of TERP’s Philadelphia office. “Her strong academic background, hands-on internship experience, and enthusiasm for the profession make her a valuable addition to our team.”
Divine brings experience in fire protection consulting, code compliance review, site inspections, fire protection system design, and fire safety research. Through internships with Jensen Hughes and Fire Risk Alliance, she supported code consulting projects by conducting field assessments, reviewing fire protection drawings, preparing proposals, and developing markups summarizing code compliance findings and recommendations.
During her time with Jensen Hughes, Divine reviewed fire protection plans for compliance with International Building Code (IBC) and NFPA requirements, conducted site surveys and field inspections to evaluate existing fire protection features and means of egress, and researched applicable fire and building codes across a variety of project types.
She also completed an electrical engineering internship with Whiting-Turner, broadening her technical foundation and strengthening her multidisciplinary perspective.
A proud triple Terp, Divine earned both her Master of Engineering in Fire Protection Engineering and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, College Park.
“I’m excited to begin my career with TERPconsulting and look forward to contributing to projects while continuing to develop my technical expertise within the fire protection industry,” said Divine.
