In 2018, Denver International Airport (DEN) broke ground on its Gate Expansion Program (GEP) which included Concourse A-West, Concourse B-West and B-East, and Concourse C-East. DEN’s GEP includes the addition of 39 new gates across all three concourses. TERPconsulting’s fire protection consultants and engineers are serving the program in a variety of functions ranging from fire and life safety system design, commissioning, project management, and engineer-of-record services. Although a majority of the expansion was completed in 2022, the entire project is scheduled for completion in mid-2024.
