Horseshoe Las Vegas
Las Vegas, NV
Market: Casino/Gaming
Project Scope: Fire/Life Safety Code and Accessibility Consulting Services, TI FPR
The conversion of Bally’s Las Vegas Hotel & Casino into Horseshoe Casino in 2022 featured the renovation of 70,000 ft2 of casino gaming floor and ancillary space as well as the property’s Hall of Fame poker room that is home to the World Series of Poker (WSOP). Rebranded as Horseshoe Las Vegas, the renovation project was broken out into several design efforts that included a mid-level refresh with minor upgrades of existing finishes and FF&E, of which TERPconsulting performed general fire/life safety code consulting services that included a fire protection report. There was also an upgrade of the existing 4,313 ft2 high-limit gaming area, which required the preparation of a Tenant Improvement Fire Protection Report (TI FPR). Additionally, TERPconsulting provided accessibility consulting services, including reviewing the project architectural drawings against pertinent accessibility provisions of the 2010 ADA Standards for Accessible Design and the 2018 International Building Code with Clark County amendments (CCBC).
