The South Adams County Fire Department (SACFD), which protects approximately 76 square miles of residential, commercial, industrial, and open lands, utilizes TERPconsulting’s engineering team for general plan review services on an as-needed basis specifically for fire suppression systems, healthcare, and educational occupancies. TERPconsulting makes licensed fire protection engineers available to SACFD to conduct fire protection reviews of shop drawing submittals (i.e., plans, specifications, and calculations) for compliance with applicable National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) codes and standards. TERPconsulting also assists the ISO Class 2 fire department in conducting building reviews for compliance with International Building Code (IBC) and International Fire Code (IFC) as amended by SACFD for construction drawing submittals.
