TERPconsulting provided fire/life safety consulting services that included the review of Safety Data Sheets (SDS) to determine hazard classifications of stored chemicals, a Hazardous Material Inventory Statement (HMIS) as required by the City of Glendale, and a review of project plans and proposed HazMat use and storage volumes. Specifically, TERPconsulting prepared a Fire Protection Report (FPR) code analysis for Cool Pools’ accessory buildings and hazardous materials storage to identify applicable requirements associated with the 2018 International Fire Code and 2018 International Building Code City of Glendale amendments. TERPconsulting utilized TheHazMatApp to manage the facility’s chemical inventory, track hazard classifications, compare hazard class totals against allowable quantities, and create the Hazardous Materials Inventory Statement (HMIS) for submittal to Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ).
